This course is for those who already have at least a
week`s experience of cross-country skiing but feel that they have not
yet quite mastered the basic skills. It is for people who still feel a
little wobbly on their skis, and who find a moderately fast descent a
scary prospect rather than an exciting one.
The course is based at Hovringen. The teaching programme
will place a lot of emphasis on half and full snowploughs and some
instruction will take place on the hotel`s nursery piste. But we will
also cover the entire range of basic techniques.
Instruction will be combined with half-day tours in which we will enjoy
relatively easy tracks at a relaxed pace. Overall the holiday grade will
be about Level 2.
This holiday is based at Oigardseter Fjellstue.
