Autumn boot
camp
Based at our Dalseter hotel this course is mainly
intended as a fitness kick-start for skiers before the winter snows
arrive. But it is also suitable for anyone who wants to tone up
generally. Be warned, however, that it will be a full-on week, with a
lot of work at moderate intensities, so it is only suitable for people
who are already taking regular exercise and have a reasonable level of
basic fitness.
The daily programme will look like this:
- Pre-breakfast aerobic circuit training
- Long morning walk in hills
- Afternoon strength circuit or Nordic walking intervals
- Evening - relax!
The hotel will provide a normal meal service - it`s not a week of
cabbage soup - but you should still be able to shed a few pounds if you
work hard.
You need to bring walking boots and outdoor clothing as well as trainers
and light tracksuits (or equivalent).
We have included dates for 2009 and 2010.
