Group skiing at Nordseter
The skiing around Nordseter is excellent. To the east
the terrain is shared with Sjusjoen. There are steep routes over rounded
fells and flat tracks around frozen lakes.
To the west and south the ground falls gradually
(steeply in some places!) down toward Lillehammer: here the tracks are
mainly in forest. To the north, on higher ground, the terrain is more
open: the main feature is the large lake, Reinsvatn, whose 20km circuit
makes a satisfying day. Strong skiers can divert on to the loops to Oyer
or Hornsjo, or over the little mountain Nevelfjell (1089m).
At Nordseter we also have courses in
skating ski technique, and Nordic Skills courses.
The 18-25 Mar group will now stay in the
excellent Rustad Hotel in Sjusjoen. Our rooms, all with shower and wc, will be in
the Fjellstue, a very well-kept building adjacent to the main building.
The Rustad has long been considered the best hotel in the entire
Sjusjoen-Nordseter area. Our holiday price is unchanged.
See
Rustad >> for details.
