Two centres in Rondane

On this holiday you spend four nights in Hovringen and then three nights in the small village of Mysuseter. You ski between the two centres while your luggage is taken by taxi.

To begin with you have three full days to sample the best of the tracks around Hovringen. Then you set off along the long-distance Troll Loipe, on a very scenic 20km stage that skirts the flanks of the Rondane mountains before coming down into Mysuseter.

From Mysuseter on a long day you should be able to reach the staffed DNT hut at Rondvassbu, dramatically situated beside a frozen lake right in the heart of the Rondane National Park. Another option for a long day is a circuit of the Kringsaeter fells, just to the west of Mysuseter.

For shorter options you can climb part of the way to Rondvassbu, then branch off the main loipe and come back down to Mysuseter along the delightful Glitterdalen valley. You can also ski on easy tracks along the Pungdalen valley to  the hotel at Rondablikk.
