Technical improvement
and special courses
Our technical and special courses are aimed at "skiers with good experience". By this we
mean that you should already have learned the basic skills and be able to get
around on cross-country skis in a fairly confident way. You don't need to be a stylish skier -
our course will help you get to that stage.
Nordic proficiency courses
These courses follow SnowSport England's system. The full syllabus goes from
One to Five Stars. Our own courses allow you to progress from One to Three
Star. The courses are based at Høvringen in Norway.

Fast-track for downhillers
This course is for experienced downhill skiers who
want to try cross-country for the first time, but who are understandably
reluctant to join a holiday for complete beginners. We start by teaching basic cross-country
techniques. Then we expect to make a lot of technical progress,
and also to cover satisfyingly long daily distances.
The course is based at Høvringen in Norway.

Ski and PT
This course,
in which the ski instructor is also a personal trainer, is for people who want to use a skiing holiday to kick-start or
boost their fitness. The course will mix informative fitness sessions with good
cross-country skiing.
The course is based at Dalseter in Norway.

Back to
basics
This course is for those who already have at least a week’s experience
of cross-country skiing but feel that they have not yet quite mastered
the basic skills. Instruction will be combined with half-day tours in
which we will enjoy relatively easy tracks at a relaxed pace.
The course is based at Dalseter in Norway.

Pre-season
dryland week
Held in mid-autumn, this course will help get you ready for the ski
season - whatever your current level of fitness. It will be an active
week and we will be mainly outdoors, but there will also be group
discussions of aspects of fitness and training, and one-to-one fitness
assessments.
The course is based at Dalseter in Norway.
