Accommodation: Hotel Baer & Post

We stay in the excellent three-star Hotel Baer & Post. It has been run by the Patscheider family for four generations, and is now in the care of Andrea and Christian Patscheider.

It is a very comfortable and well-appointed hotel and is certainly one of the most luxurious in our entire programme. But it is also very relaxed and informal, and well used to welcoming cross-country skiers.

The hotel comprises two separate but adjacent buildings and our rooms may be in either one. All rooms are spacious and comfortable and have shower and wc. The meal arrangement is half-board, with four course dinners and substantial buffet breakfasts. Lunches can be bought in restaurants beside the ski tracks.

There is a sauna with separate sessions for men and women.
